THE SOUND OF CICADAS WAS DEAFENING

At the Coastal Settlement and Changi Village last weekend.

First time using the Kodak Plus, and I remember why except for the Portra, I've never really liked Kodak, it always turns out too red for my liking (yikes).

The little pea is turning three soon, and no, this year there will be no trip to Japan. Looking back, we've never had great big theories on how to raise a kid, but one thing we knew was that we've never wanted her to be a shopping-mall kid, and I'm glad to say so far that that (at least) has been working out well.

Oh, and I hope maybe she will love trees.

  1. You've done well. She's growing wonderfully. I think it's very important for parents to connect children with nature through informal, spontaneous, unrestricted play with others. Great job Mommy!

    1. Thank you! But to confess half the time I just muddle my way through, it’s hard to know what you are doing as a first time parent! Our education system here is really stressful so we’re hoping to let her play as much as possible before she has to enter proper school.

    1. Thank you Karen! Though I'm fearing she's going to be the suaku kid in school who doesn't know where Toy R' Us is.
