LIFE WITH A TODDLER #005

We are more than halfway through the school holidays and though it's exhausting there are still quite a number of places I'll like to bring her to (fingers crossed she doesn't fall sick).

I THINK SHE DIDN'T WANT TO COME HOME

Ducks, birds, fishes, playing in the same river as her papa did all those years ago.

As you can see the little pea has been having a whale of a time with Ah Gong and Ah Ma in Malaysia.

Let's hope that she will have the same fond memories.

KELLIE'S CASTLE

The Kellie's Castle off Ipoh town.

I normally would have happily killed a few rolls of film at a place like this, if not that this was the exact location where my classica went R.I.P.

Makes me wonder if all those ghost stories about this castle are really true (gulp).

AROUND OLD TOWN IPOH

My natura classica has died. In Ipoh. It is out of production and my heart is broken. It ate up 2 good rolls of my Agfa (thank goodness it wasn't the Portra) before miraculously reviving for a short while, so these are all I have from Ipoh. I'll have to bring it to the camera hospital and hope that they still have the parts to fix it. Meanwhile, I guess I still have my not-so-good old phone camera.

We were in Ipoh on a Wednesday, which was kind of unlucky because a lot of shops were closed, but on the flip side it was kind of peaceful. Nothing especially unforgettable about this trip (we did eat a lot) but it was a really nice way to spend some time with family.

Next time Penang might be good.
