A DAY OFF

I'll have to admit... ...there are some things in life, that you just can't do properly with two preschoolers in tow.

Like go to a hipster cafe... ...

and take photos of your overpriced food... ...

... ...or even the fancy washroom.

p.s. I was admiring their toto washlet complete with a heated seat and an auto opening lid. It made me so nostalgic for Japan.

Take a slow walk... ...

Quaint Chip Bee Gardens... ...

... ...with it's equally quaint shops.

I got to try on clothes without having to keep an eagle eye on my curious (read: rogue) toddler. She would have been playing peek-a-boo among the racks.

The lanes and the paths have started to overrun during our evening walks recently, grasses tall and tiny flowers everywhere. It might not look neat and tidy as before, but what does it matter? The pea and the butterflies are so happy.

I'm not so sure how well these two can understand each other's coos and meows, but somehow they can do this all day.
