Thanks a lot, I was lucky to get that shot. The owner of the place, Lynne was so great she just let us wander around the house and gardens and didn't mind that I was snapping furiously away all the while.
these just make me want to go to NZ next available 5-day holiday I can get. perhaps I'll do a 2-day quick Auckland walk then Akaroa? so much freshness!
Hello NZ is so very wonderful I wish I could live there near all that nature. Actually even from Singapore it's a 10 hour flight so maybe you might want to try at least 7 to 10 days to make the air ticket worthwhile? The nearest city to Akaroa is Christchurch which is in the South Island. Let me know if you decide to go, maybe I can share some tips about transport and lodging with you :)
Haha yeap. I loved it how everything was rather wild and overgrown. It's great to see a place like that after all the manicured gardens that I'm used to.
you are so talented. the lighting in that photo of the green onions(?) - wow!
