THE SWIMMING POOL

Leandro Erlich's Swimming Pool. We later caught his Hair Salon at the 2nd Singapore Biennale. His works are amazing.

  1. That is such an interesting photograph! I really like it. Was it taken at an aquarium?

  2. Hi Megan, thanks! Nope it's actually an art exhibit called the swimming pool at a museum in Kanazawa. You can check out their website here -> http://www.kanazawa21.jp/data_list.php?g=30&d=7&lng=e

  3. I like this shot and thought it was at the aquarium too. I'd like to be a rich man so that I have lots of time to write snail mail and watch lots of movies and just take pictures :)

  5. It's worth visiting this museum just to experience this space, isn't it? I've been meaning to go back to Kanazawa for a while now for other things...and sea food, of course.

A musician that I talked to this morning said "Wikipedia?" when I asked if he read books. I thought that was pretty quotable, too. :-)

  7. Ai-san: Wikipedia? *lol* that's a good one.

The guy who did the swimming pool at the museum in Kanazawa also had an exhibit in Singapore. You can take a look here if you're interested -> http://universes-in-universe.org/eng/magazine/articles/2008/leandro_erlich

I would love to see your Kanazawa pics!

Lim san & Wendy: Hahah yeap Lim san's quote made it to my gold list of quotable quotes. Not everyone can say wacky things like that you know *lol*
