SO LONG AGO

Last day in Tokyo.

If she got the train otaku streak from me, then her love of water and fishes (erm, I don't like pets that I can't pet) definitely stems from her papa's side of the family.

This was in end 2018, and it feels like everything and nothing has changed since.

2019 is going to be a special year for us, more updates soon :)

THE LITTLE GIRL WHO LIKES TRAINS

I'm not sure if most girls are not into trains but we tend to get comments from strangers whenever she brings her Thomas and Percy toys out with her.

This is a great place to be if you are in Tokyo with kids.

WHILE MAMA WAS SHOPPING

How she entertained herself the whole time while Mama was busy hunting down Miffy bowls and plates.

I'M GOING TO GOBBLE IT ALL UP

The pea was gleeful because she got to eat up totoro (first I will gobble up his ear!).

Must have gotten that sadistic streak from me, oops.

THE GOOD LUCK CAT TEMPLE

One of the two temples in Tokyo that I love going again and again and again.

The other one is this.

MORE GREEN THAN YELLOW

We were a little early for the leaves (gingkoes are one of my favourite things about Tokyo), but fried chicken burgers and fries under the trees were so good.

Oh and that last photo? A really rare one, because the pea insisted *lol*

OLD SCHOOL AMUSEMENT

The oldest amusement park in Tokyo, running since the 1950s and hands-down the little pea's favourite place this time round. Days later she was still talking about 'going round and round up in the sky' and 'the guinea pig that sat on my lap'.

I was sad to hear from the lady at the counter that they will be closed for the next 3 years for renovations. I really hope they will keep that lovely nostalgic feel about the place and not make everything too shiny new.
