SPECIAL GUESTS FROM HK PART TWO

These two furry friends that came with the two special guests from HK were even more photogenic than I remembered. We're missing those wide happy grins and big round ears almost as much as our special guests themselves.

Come back again soon for some serious museum and cafe-hopping again, B & N!!

SPECIAL GUESTS FROM HK PART ONE

I've just got a roll back and am just a little tuckered out from work actually but these are giving me such a big smile that I can't wait to share. My two classica sisters were here and gone, but we had such a great time!

I promise to go to HK properly one of these days B and N, and not on transit *lol*

From top, gardens by the bay, ann siang hill, k-ki.

AND WHAT'S BETTER THAN TEA, SOME CAKE, AND A HORSE OR TWO

At the Riders Cafe. For just a few hours at least, I had fun pretending I was in some old English countryside.

We were lucky to have gotten the chance to car-sit for a friend for around a month, and me with the usual aversion to crowded places, got my dream of exploring some out-of-the-way places that you just can't go without a set of wheels. This was one of them :)

May has started off really well with a pleasant surprise at work, and I've got lots to look forward to. Next week, a good run at the Gardens by the Bay (I haven't been yet); next next week brings 2 special classica sisters B & N from HK, we're going to have so much fun shooting and eating (sukiyaki home party!); and a short trip out nearing the end of the month.

For these I feel so grateful.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend, though it's pouring here. I shall take this chance to stay home and get some housewife-like duties done. Oh and for a bit of the pre-monday blues, I'm loving these little NHK video clips by my favourite Japanese actress.

It's saying, 'Hang in there, weekday'.
