A park near home, fast becoming a favourite. Next time we'll go with a picnic basket and a book.
My usual 'whatever' salad, on top of the usual lettuce, tomatoes and sprouts I throw in chikuwa, sunflower seeds and anchovies, whatever I like.
And love is... ...taking turns on the cushy bird-watching pillow by the window...
Have a good week :)
Nice pictures. The salad looks delicious, I wonder how chikuwa taste.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually japanese fishroll and usually comes in a frozen pack but its really tasty! If you happen to know any japanese grocery shop or supermarket over there they might carry it I think :)
ReplyDeleteanchovies??? you eat anchovies???
ReplyDeleteYessssh...not the raw-looking type, the ban mian type you know? That's tasty. Hahah so who says I don't eat fish ;)
ReplyDeleteAw I love your cats and I love the first view close to home too :)
ReplyDeleteYou know Karen, I think they've done a great job with Bishan Park. Have you been?
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a park as beautiful as this one near me! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe park's been there for as long as I know Camila, but before I didn't like it as much because there was too much concrete and everything, recently they've pull out a lot of the artificial bits and let it grow wild and I love how it looks now.
