I WILL GO WHEREVER THERE IS AUTUMN

When I think of fall in Tokyo, I often think yellow instead of red. It probably has a lot to do with ginkgo being the city's official tree.

Getting rather excited because we're getting down to planning an autumn trip. Fall is always a favourite season to travel, I hope the yellow and red will wait.

WE'LL LIKE SOME COFFEE & CAKE PLEASE

I've been to quite a few interesting spaces these few weeks, sharing with you one of them here from sometime back, a 'hardware store' that dishes out coffee and cake.

AN HOUR & HALF AWAY

It's been more than 5 years since we had a beach holiday. We used to take the 12-hour train (I love trains) up to Perhentian in an almost yearly pilgrimage, but as they've pulled out the tracks we decided to change course this time to Redang Island instead.

It's amazing to think that it's all turquoise blue and powder sand just an hour and half away.

We do feel lucky to be in this part of the world sometimes.

THE MORNING AFTER

I think... ...that there are some kind of light that cannot be put into words. That morning on the island was one of them.
