Ordinary everyday scenes from the recent Tokyo trip, but somehow I like them.
Some happy news to share, HC and I will be flying off to New Zealand (middle earth !!!) next week for around 2 weeks.
It's one of those places where you don't realize how far away they are until you buy the plane tickets to find that you're going to clock a 10 to 12 hours flight. I was chatting with a friend from Minnesota and he oohed and aahhed about New Zealand before groaning to find that it will take close to 30 hours for him to get there, transits and all.
We'll be mainly driving around the South Island, with a short venture to the north to Wellington. By the way, would anyone happen to know of any great cafes or restaurants in Wellington? Would be grateful if you could share =)
very very beautiful!ReplyDelete
Sorry can't help there, I'd like to go there one day! Gorgeous pics!ReplyDelete
No problem glad you like them :) Actually Singapore's probably one of the nearest places there is to fly to NZ, except for Australia of course. Tell you more about it when I come back!Delete
SO envious of your trip! It was my father's favorite country of the 40 or so he has visited :) I love that you called it Middle Earth! Yes!ReplyDelete
The light in the last 2 photos here is fantastic, great captures!
Hello kitchu, thank you!Delete
Sadly I would not be going for the Middle Earth tour, I think most of the tours are available in the north island and anyway there's too much to see in the south island so we decided to forgo the tour. 40 over countries!? I aspire to be like your father :)
my gosh, you are really having fun! let's meet up when you get back please ;)ReplyDelete
Hello Ms Moomoo (I should stop calling you 'Ms'), haha yes because time and money are so mutually exclusive, but now I have to go through the painful process of looking for work. Just got back last night, text you later ;)Delete
